Creased Press is a book art imprint dedicated to collaborative publishing, printmaking, paper folding, and material experimentation. We create handmade artist books, limited editions, sculptural publications, and printed objects that push the boundaries of a book beyond artwork and archive.

Books are more than containers for ideas. They are objects to be held, unfolded, experienced, and shared.

Working collaboratively with artists, poets, writers, photographers, designers, and cultural organizations, each project is conceived, printed, folded, bound, and assembled by hand. Rooted in contemporary book arts, the imprint embraces experimentation and craftsmanship to create books that invite slow looking and active engagement.

Our Story

Creased Press is a handmade book art imprint dedicated to collaborative publishing and contemporary book arts. Founded by Yale School of Art MFA graduate and paper folding artist Sok Song, who is currently an Artist in Residence at the Center for Book Arts in New York City, the imprint brings together artists, poets, writers, photographers, and cultural organizations to create distinctive artist books and editions.

The imprint builds on the legacy of Creased Magazine, an independent publication celebrating contemporary paper arts through original folding designs, instructional diagrams, educational resources, and international collaboration.

Today, Creased Press creates handmade artist books, poetry chapbooks, limited editions, and sculptural publications through printmaking, letterpress, paper folding, bookbinding, and material experimentation. Every edition is designed, printed, folded, and assembled by hand, transforming books into works of art.
