Created during my residency at Arts14C for the exhibition Fabric of a Nation, Seamed Through a Nation explores American identity through the lens of Korean jogakbo patchwork, combining textiles, embroidery, and installation. Inviting viewers to walk through its suspended structure, the work reflects on immigration, racism, belonging, and the ongoing process of repair and remembrance.

The Erasure of a Nation series transforms garments made from patriotic and camouflage fabrics into layered pressure prints where symbols of nationalism fade into subtle impressions. Through processes of removal rather than addition, the works question how identity, belonging, and history are constructed.
