yeejae kim (b. seoul) is an interdisciplinary artist working across sculpture, kinetic installation, performance, and fermentation-based processes. Drawing from domestic and bodily rituals, her work transforms acts of care, repetition, and maintenance into mechanical and material systems that move, leak, preserve, and fail. Through humor, discomfort, and endurance, she explores beauty standards, family memory, cultural inheritance, and the labor of keeping things alive. Kim received her MFA in Visual Arts from Columbia University and lives and works in Queens, New York.
