Paola Michaela
Paola Michaela grew up worshipping at the literary churches of the Scholastic Book Fair and the local library. Series like Percy Jackson and My Sister the Vampire were her sacred texts. Between AP classes and a BFA in English Language and Literature, Paola was introduced to the innovative works of Toni Morrison, Madeline Miller, Ocean Vuong, and, of course, Virginia Woolf. Now, in adulthood, Paola is proudly in their “reader” era— open to anything and everything great authors have to offer and always reading a couple books at a time. Afterall, every good writer (which Paola would like to be) is a good reader first.
